VARIETY/BLEND: 90% Listán Prieto, 9% Listán Blanco, 1% Tintilla
ALTITUDE: 900-1200m a.s.l.
FERMENTATION: The grapes fermented by parcel with native yeasts in a mixture of concrete vats and plastic tanks.
AGEING: The wine aged for eight months in neutral French oak barrels and concrete tank without racking.
Envínate is the brainchild of 4 friends, winemakers Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos, and José Martínez. This gang of 4 formed back in 2005 while studying enology. Upon graduation, they formed a winemaking consultancy, which evolved into Envínate, a project that focuses on exploring distinctive parcels mainly in the Atlantic-inflected regions of Ribeira Sacra and the Canary Islands.
