ORIGIN: Spain, Penedès
VARIETY/BLEND: Sumoll 50% Garnacha Tinta 50%
SOILS: Calcareous soil, with clay-loam texture
FERMENTATION: Native yeast for a spontaneous fermentation of 15 days with the skins in inox and amphora. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in inox.
AGEING: 8 months aging in barrels. Bottling and aging of at least 8 months in bottle.
It was in 2014 that Pepe Raventós began his most pure and personal project focused only on making natural wines in the garage of his home: Mas del Serral. Wine is without suplhites or additives as a way of working and understanding life. The main objective is to make authentic and balanced wines that fairly express the intrinsic nature of the terroir.
